We are seeking a passionate Cook to join a prestigious family-owned bar management company. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a creative and energetic team dedicated to providing exceptional service and delicious high quality bar meals to customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to pre-set menus, ensuring they are well presented.
Manage simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to relevant senior staff to maintain adequate supplies.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing up crockery and utensils, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
Be attentive to customers dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests regarding the menu.
Assist in covering leave for other Kitchen Assistant staff as needed.
Work hours each week vary, and the shifts rotate. Shifts are 7am – 3pm or 12 noon – 8pm or 2pm – 10pm. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a catering role is essential.
Must hold Food Hygiene certification
