Social Worker – Children in Care – West Midlands – Permanent
Liquid Personnel are looking for dedicated, experienced social workers who are passionate about delivering the best care to young people, to join the Children in Care Permanency Service for our client in the West Midlands! Duties:
6. You will work alongside children subject to legal proceedings and children in care who have a plan of permanency across the local authority.
7. Your focus will be on building and maintaining long-term relationships with the children in the service, their families, and carers.
8. Manage an allocated social work caseload related to children, young people, and families within the locality, including child protection and court work.
9. Prepare for and participate in planned work related to court and court orders effectively and within appropriate timescales.
Requirements:
10. Professional SW Qualification and current registration as a social worker with Social Work England.
11. Completion of Assessed and Supported year of Employment (ASYE)
12. At least one year statutory social work experience for a Social Worker, At least two years statutory social work experience for a Senior Social Worker.
13. Subject to a satisfactory appropriate DBS check which will as a minimum for this role include Children enhanced & barred.
