Church of England Birmingham is on a journey of growing churches at the heart of every community. To do this well we need to be intentional and strategic in our approach and this requires accurate and timely data presented in a way that everyone can understand. Data will help us make the right decisions, in the right ways at the right times so that we can become a growing and financially sustainable diocese.
We have been using data to inform our strategy and need an Information Analyst to help us take our use of information to the next level. We are looking for someone with skills in data analysis, interpretation and presentation of information, and digital mapping who enjoys working with a range of people and topic areas. The successful candidate will work with a range of quantitative and qualitative information and be part of a supportive team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide usable information and insights that will help the diocese pursue its strategy, further develop mission and measure progress. Supporting a new multi-disciplinary way of working with data sets to help inform decision making and the allocation of resources will be key part of the role. The work will involve creating and aligning master datasets, creating digital data maps, developing information dashboards, identifying areas in need of further exploration / discussion sharing fresh insights.
