Job Title: Sports Lecturer
Location: Worcester and Redditch Campuses
Contract Type: Full-Time (37 hours per week until Christmas)
Salary: £185 per day + HP
About the Role:
Think FE is collaborating with a leading college to find a dynamic and dedicated Sports Lecturer to join their team at the Worcester and Redditch campuses. The successful candidate will work closely with staff and Personal Tutors to support learners in achieving their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver High-Quality Teaching and Learning:
Provide learners with a clear and coherently planned learning and assessment experience.
Effectively manage and monitor the learning process.
Offer regular assessment opportunities.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners.
Support Learner Development:
Engage with learners to inspire and motivate them.
Utilize industry experience to enhance learning outcomes.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must possess at least three out of the following four attributes:
Educational Background:
Degree in Sports or equivalent vocational/professional qualification.
Teaching Qualifications:
Recognized teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one within a specified period).
Maths and English Proficiency:
Level 2 qualification (at least) in both Maths and English, or a willingness to gain these qualifications.
Industry Experience:
Recent experience in the sports industry or related field.
Experience teaching or coaching young people is highly desirable. Essential Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively engage with young people.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
