Main duties of the job
We are looking for keen and motivated band 5 nurses to join our team in delivering essential and specialist Cardiothoracic surgical nursing care to our patients. The Cardiothoracic surgical ward comprises of 34 beds in the University Hospital of Wales, the ward delivers tertiary surgical services and is recognised as one of the top centres within the UK. The ward has an excellent established nursing team who will be able to support and assist your development.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will work well within a team. The ability to cope in stressful and demanding situations is highly desirable, although support will be given. We are searching for nurses who share our values that:
