Job Description
This boutique b2b PR agency focus on insurance clients across a range of sub sectors. The work they do is really strategic and advisory client work within the niche of a very particular sector acting as consultants to their clients as well as delivering communications initiatives. They are looking for an Account Manager who loves providing day to day client advice and having lots of autonomy as well as taking complex subject matter and turning it into user friendly communications materials.
Based in Central London they offer a very grown up and super flexible approach to working. They are a small team but part of a larger agency group so you get the close knit camaraderie of the immediate team alongside the buzz of a larger office. They have a very flat structure so they are non hierarchical and people who thrive here are smart but don’t have big egos.
The role covers all key elements of PR Account Management, client relationships, media relations, writing and reporting. On the majority of clients there are two team members so you also get lots of ownership and autonomy as well. Although most of the team do two or three days a week in the office (because they like it) there is no set mandate so they are really open to people working how they work best. That said they are a close team and enjoy a social so someone who would like some office time would probably suit this inclusive team best.
Working across PR for clients in the very specific insurance sector, they absolutely need someone who is interested in this sometimes complex, specific space. You don’t need to have experience in insurance PR or even financial services but a genuine curiosity to specialise is essential. You will also have the all round skills of an Account Manager in a PR agency, either already holding that title or be a strong SAE looking to step up. You could also be a journalist in the insurance or FS space keen to transition into a PR agency. Whatever your experience to date you will need a consultative approach, have strong writing skills and be happy to muck in as part of a small team.
As well as flexible working they offer some great benefits and fantastic bonus incentives, so anyone with commercial drive can really thrive here.
