Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: NP12
Contract Type: Monday – Friday (8:30 – 3:30)
Start Date: 2nd of December 2024
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant, with a specific focus on Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and general classroom assistance. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth for all students.
Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support for students, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities, meeting the unique needs of each child.
Support general classroom management, preparing resources, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Help create independence, engagement, and confidence among young learners.
Requirements:
Experience with early years or primary-aged children, ideally in an ALN support role.
Compassionate and patient, with strong communication and collaborative skills.
The right to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate).
A valid proof of address (Driving License, utility bill, or bank statement).
Valid referee details (Character references accepted if you have no prior work experience).
A child-only DBS (we can assist in attaining this).
