This could be the perfect role for someone looking to take their first step into a Finance Manager role. Based in Hull.
Reporting to the Director and having supervision for a small finance team of 2, your main responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing of the credit control function daily
* Daily communications with customers on new credit accounts, credit limit reviews and credit account positions
* Daily communications with suppliers, scheduling supplier payments, settlement discounts and general account queries
* Control of the company bank accounts and associated administration
* Bank reconciliations
* Reconciliation of credit card statements
* Full payroll administration
* VAT returns
* Regulatory correspondence including HMRC, pensions, etc.
* Producing financial reports
* Preparing weekly management reports
* Involvement in producing and analysing stock valuations reports
* Managing and reporting on the companies trading agreements, including tracking of dates, rebates, etc.
* Responsible for HR functions including recruitment, issuing contracts, updating employee holiday and absence records, liaison with third party employment law support and general day-to-day HR queries
* General accounts administration
* Ad hoc duties to support the Directors in the day to day running of the company.
