About the Role We are seeking an innovative Marketing Director (m/f/d) with extensive relevant experience to lead the launch of the Changan brand in the UK. This role requires a hands-on approach as we scale the business from the ground up. As the Marketing Director (m/f/d), you’ll have the unique opportunity to use your planning, influencing and leadership skills to shape the Changan brand in the UK. Building an internal and agency team, to align with the European positioning and vision to present an innovative product lineup that combines European design excellence with cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities: Establish the UK marketing function, working with European and Global teams. Recruit and manage and mentor a UK based team. Develop and implement UK brand launch & growth strategies, to deliver brand awareness goals aligned with the European brand positioning strategy. Build and maintain relationships across related media and industry partners. Plan and manage the Fixed Marketing budget to deliver agreed business objectives. Manage a network of marketing agencies, utilising the latest martech solutions, and measurement tools to deliver effective campaigns and strategies. Develop and implement integrated data-strategy, including full CRM and loyalty plans. Work with related suppliers, i.e. finance company, to present a unified approach to customers. Plan and deliver a calendar of public and press events to generate brand awareness and support the lead generation targets. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and competitor activities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or similar Several years of experience in a similar role within the Sales & Marketing. Proven track record of leading Marketing and Communications, preferably in a multi-national environment. Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, finance products, fleet markets and analytical tools. Strong understanding of digital marketing, first party data management and utilization. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
