We are looking for a Personal Assistant(s) to support a 62 year old gentleman who lives in Dalbeattie. The support is for 28 hours a week to provide respite and social visits and to encourage him to getting out and about in the community.
The gentleman lives at home with his wife and big friendly dog. He loves puzzles and jigsaws, quiz programmes on tv and is football daft. Our gentleman enjoys a day out to the golf range and a walk round museums.
Working with this Gentleman:
1. Clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle advantageous.
2. Previous experience in Adult Support Services or Care Services would be beneficial.
3. Compassionate, caring and patient.
4. An understanding or experience of working with dementia though training can be provided.
5. Flexible hours (to be discussed at interview)
6. Would like 2 references at interview stage.
7. Subject to PVG check
