About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Waitrose Technical team as a Regulatory & Policy Coordinator.
The relevant candidate will be supporting the regulatory and policy functions of the Regulatory & Policy team for Waitrose. Accountable for implementation of effective business processes to enable regulatory compliance to be reached across product and trading areas.
You will support Regulatory Managers through stakeholder management and compliance advice where required and support Regulatory & Policy Manager in maintenance of the Regulatory Policy Framework.
Some of your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
To oversee regulatory enquiries process for the regulatory & policy team
Responsible for day to day administration of the regulatory policy framework, including meeting management, ensuring policies are up to date, training in policy requirements and tracking policy compliance.
Manage referrals process from enforcement agencies
Support business with 3rd party accreditation audits
As an integral part of the regulatory team to delivery business requirements for legal challenges, product incidents and new legislation & guidance
Supporting regulatory and policy requirements around 3rd parties, inter-departmental processes, business systems
Essential Skills
* Science, Food Science or Law Degree
* Systems, Google Suite, Ability think around to find systems based solutions to compliance issues
