My client, based in York is looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper. The role will be office-based initially until after the 6 month probationary period. Following this there is the opportunity to work from home some of the time.
They are a leading sustainable design practice working alongside some of the UK`s top 20 house builders and contractors.
Office hours are 4 hours a day, but this is flexible. In normal times the office environment is busy, professional but relatively informal.
The successful candidate will be a team player with an exceptional ability to multi-task and manage a busy and time critical schedule of work, including processing invoices, wages and receipts
Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of accuracy and organisational skills dealing with figures. As a point of contact for many clients it is essential that you portray yourself as professional and friendly over the phone and via e-mail. The company enjoys close partnerships with all of their clients, built on trust, a track record of delivery and friendship. They want the successful candidate to maintain and strengthen these relationships as they are critical to the success of their business.
