Band 6 Physiotherapist (Acute Inpatient Rotations)
Location: Northampton General Hospital
Contract: 3 months initially
Salary: £23 - £27 per hour

Main Duties:
1. Provide high-quality physiotherapy across acute inpatient rotations: Respiratory, Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Stroke, Acute Medicine, Elderly Medicine, and Urgent Care & Frailty.
2. Participate in the evening and weekend respiratory on-call service.
3. Conduct advanced assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for patients with complex conditions.
4. Collaborate with Occupational Therapy colleagues for joint assessments and treatment plans.
5. Manage a caseload independently, contributing to patient flow through board rounds and ward meetings.
6. Identify patient care pathways and suitable discharge locations.
7. Mentor Band 5 physiotherapists and supervise physiotherapy students.
8. Support newly registered staff during their preceptorship.

Requirements:
14. BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
15. Experience in acute hospital settings and a minimum of four core rotations.
16. Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
17. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
