LSU Advice provides impartial, confidential and non-judgmental advice on a range of academic processes or conflicts with the University. The service supports students and doctoral researchers on both the Loughborough and London campus as well as Loughborough College. LSU Advice typically supports students with processes including academic misconduct, appealing results, disciplinary offences, car parking offences, mitigating circumstances, and complaints regarding the University.
In this role, the successful applicant will become an integral part of the LSU advice team, managing a challenging and diverse caseload of students and providing high-quality advice to our members through a range of communication methods.

This role is appointed at 35 hours per week (standard working hours are 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday with an unpaid lunch break) 52 weeks per year. You will be primarily based in the Union Building, Ashby Road, Loughborough. LSU is supportive, wherever possible, of flexible working arrangements.
The position is offered on LSU Scale 5, currently £22,696 - 23,495 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) on an open-ended basis. Offers will be made at a pay point appropriate to the skill and experience of the successful candidate. Appointments made prior to 1st April will be eligible to be awarded an increment in accordance with the annual increment process.
