Murray Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a well-established Chartered Accountants firm based in Lanarkshire.

Main Duties:
* Managing purchase and sales ledger
* Handling VAT returns
* Processing CIS returns
* Conducting credit control
* Managing staff expenses
* Processing accounts to trial balance
* Performing bank reconciliations
* Dealing with customer queries
Experience and Skills Needed:
* Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably within an accountants practice or the construction industry.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines.
* Proficiency in using back-office systems such as SAGE 50, SAGE Cloud, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
