About the Role
Junior NPD Chef - Camden, London
As a junior NPD Chef, your responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the culinary team. You execute tasks according to recipes and standards, ensuring a smooth kitchen operation while learning and honing culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
You will:
1. Ensure the Jamestown kitchen is kept clean and well-maintained
2. Receive and store all items ordered for the kitchen
3. Cook and prepare food as per senior NPD chef’s instructions
4. Support food tastings and presentations
5. Prepare and serve food for internal events and hospitality
6. Order food items for photo shoots, then box them up for transportation
7. Maintain a clean and orderly appearance in line with brand and legal standards
8. Assist colleagues, promote teamwork, and communicate openly
9. Adhere to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
10. Assist in training new team members
11. Support new unit openings when required
