The Best Connection are currently seeking candidates interested in working in the recycling and environmental industry, based in Hartlepool.
This position will work along side the site manager in ensuring that facilities operate at maximum efficiency, ensuring product quality is to specification and costs are in accordance with Company budgets or forecasts. The role will ensure customer and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the Non Ferrous facilities operate at maximum efficiency
2. Maintain an effective working relationship with suppliers, customers and departments
3. Material Claims management - Responsible & accountable for reviewing data, achieve target reduction and implement corrective actions
4. To support the Non Ferrous Facility in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements and Company SHECS guidelines
5. Personally demonstrate and encourage commitment to SHECS Management Policies and Procedures
6. To analyse, evaluate and secure Non Ferrous opportunities
7. Troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime
8. Decisions on deployment of employees to maximise processing capabilities and optimise loading / sales within area of responsibility.

Qualifications
15. Knowledge of Non Ferrous materials and materials recovery processes
16. Experience of managing at appropriate level within fast-paced environment:
17. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
18. Industry professional who has experience in planning and production scheduling
19. Understanding of sector commercial dynamics
20. Knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety legislation
21. IT literate to include Microsoft Office, with good knowledge of Excel

22. 08.00am - 16:30pm
23. Monday to Friday
Salary:
24. £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
