Trainee Corporate Insurance Underwriter – Salary £26,700 to £36,700
This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience within Large Corporate PMI Underwriting, or may even suit a recent graduate and/or someone with a strong mathematical background who would be eager to progress through the underwriting academy!
A bit about the job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the pricing of large corporate private medical insurance business within the boundaries of the large corporate underwriting philosophy and delegated authority matrix, whilst achieving the required level of quality on accredited output. This will include continuous internal communication and relationships management and will also provide the opportunity to earn an underwriting accreditation for future development.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Excellent numerical skills and/or a mathematical based background (e.g. Maths, Finance, Economics, Business etc)
2. Strong problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to manage internal relationships and juggle various priorities efficiently.
4. Able to work well as part of a team.
5. Previous experience of Large Corporate PMI underwriting would be advantageous, but not essential.
What you’ll get for this role:
6. Starting salary between £26,700 to £36,700 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
