Role Overview:This isn’t your typical social media role. As our Social Media Executive & Video Editor, you’ll be hands-on in shaping and growing clients' personal brands from the ground up, making an immediate impact. You’ll create engaging, on-brand content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, while using your video editing skills to bring client stories to life. Key Responsibilities:
* Social Media Content Creation: Craft and schedule original content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, aligning with each client’s branding goals and helping shape their digital footprint.
* Video Editing: Edit high-impact short-form videos (e.g., LinkedIn videos, Instagram Reels, TikTok) to captivate audiences and keep viewers engaged, using your storytelling skills to highlight each client’s unique voice.
* Content Strategy: Collaborate with the team to develop strategies across the funnel—awareness, trust-building, and conversions—creating an engaged community and driving growth.
* Audience Engagement: Actively monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and build a connected audience around each client’s personal brand.
* Trend Spotting: Stay current with social media trends, particularly video formats, and suggest fresh ideas to keep content relevant, innovative, and in line with our clients’ voices.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance and video metrics, reporting insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
* Collaborative Campaign Execution: Contribute to broader campaigns, including our multi-stage funnel approach (Top, Middle, and Bottom of Funnel).
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or Social Media Manager, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a portfolio showcasing successful social media growth.
* Strong video editing skills, proficient in software, Adobe Premiere Pro. With an eye for storytelling and pacing.
* Deep understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, with experience scheduling posts and managing content calendars.
* Knowledge of full-funnel content strategies that drive engagement and conversions (TOF, MOF, BOF).
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where flexibility and adaptability are key.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create captivating captions, taglines, and other on-brand copy.
* A creative eye for visual storytelling, with a knack for understanding what resonates with audiences.
