Art Teacher
We are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Fareham area this January. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated individual to cultivate creativity, artistic skills, and critical thinking in KS3 and KS4 students. Role Responsibilities:
* Inspire and engage students with creative and structured Art lessons for KS3 and KS4.
* Foster a nurturing classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore different mediums, styles, and cultural art forms.
* Support students in developing technical skills and building confidence in both their practical and analytical abilities.
* Contribute to the Art Department’s broader activities, such as exhibitions, art clubs, and collaboration on cross-departmental projects.
* Prepare students for GCSE Art assessments, providing insightful feedback and guidance to help them achieve their best.
Ideal Candidate:
* QTS or equivalent experience in teaching Art at secondary level.
* Deep knowledge and passion for Art, including a range of techniques and historical perspectives.
* Ability to motivate students of diverse abilities, fostering enthusiasm and a love for the subject.
* Excellent communication skills, and an adaptable, collaborative approach to department activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
