About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Service Manager on a full-time, permanent basis in Chesterfield.
Reporting into the Regional Head of Service, you will manage and support the repairs teams within the Nottingham and Derbyshire region in the delivery of responsive repairs for our customers. You will manage the team’s productivity, quality of work and progress by undertaking regular audits. You will manage approved contractors and ensure resources are in place.
What we are looking for
We are a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be an experienced Service Manager, but you will also have great customer service skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
1. Proven operational experience in functional area.
2. Proven experience of developing and implementing business improvements in a service delivery environment.
3. Demonstrates the skills to manage complex programmes of work.
4. Proven ability to analyse complex information and develop potential options and/or recommendations on the most appropriate course of action.
5. Able to use data to improve decision making, leading, and navigating team members through ambiguity by making evidence and/or values-based decisions to prioritise strategically.
6. Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills, working with the business to identify practical, performance improvement opportunities.
7. Ability to influence at all levels of the business.
8. Excellent oral and written communications.
9. Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
10. Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
