The Client:
A leading main contractor working within the leisure, commercial, education and healthcare sectors and a stalwart of the local construction industry over the last c. 40 years, with a reputation for delivering complex new build and refurbishment projects to excellent standards.
The Role:
As Document Controller your role will be a multi-faceted one with a lot of variety. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all project documents are managed, filed and controlled in a timely and efficient manner, issued to on-site management and issued throughout the supply chain to sub-contractors, external consultants and other associated parties.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files and documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules and correspondence.
* Ensure all project documentation is reviewed, approved, uploaded and distributed to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
* Monitor project progress and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
* Ensure sub-contractors and external consultants are sending through relevant information for project documentation to be updated.
Requirements:
* Previous experience within the construction industry is desirable, but not essential, specifically within document control, administration or customer care coordination.
