Job Role - Cover Supervisor
Pay Rate - £100 - £125 per day
Location - Redditch
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Cover Supervisor to start in January 2025 at our partnered secondary schools in Redditch, to be responsible for the supervision of classes and to oversee the completion of work by students in the absence of the nominated teacher.
Previous experience of working with or interacting with children or young people is required for this role as well as good communication skills and an ability to work with minimum of supervision and to manage students in a classroom setting. Confidence using a laptop as well as good organisational skills are important for this role. This post is open to any applicant with suitable skills and experience regardless of qualifications although the position may be particularly attractive to graduates thinking of a career in teaching in the longer term.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple schools within the Redditch area.
– Adapt quickly to different teaching environments, ensuring consistency and a high standard of education.
– Collaborate with school staff to understand classroom dynamics and tailor lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
– Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment, fostering student growth and development.
– Provide feedback to schools regarding lesson delivery, student progress, and any additional support required.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desired but no neccessary.
– Experience working as a secondary school cover supervisor.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong classroom management abilities.
– The ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments.
– A flexible schedule, allowing for availability to work on selected days.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
