Our client is looking for an Executive Officer to join their team!
Length of Assignment: 1 Year
Hours of Work: 37 (Monday to Friday 9-5pm)
Rate of Pay: £15.97 per hour
Main Duties of the Role include:
1. Information Management: managing, reallocating, tracking, appropriate CM recording, and prioritisation of emails, correspondence, papers, meetings, conferences, phone calls etc.
2. Communication: establishing and maintaining effective working relations with the NIEA Chief Executive, Directors and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including MLA’s, SCS and business leaders.
3. Time & Target Management: providing effective support to the NIEA Chief Executive to ensure NICS, DAERA and Divisional priorities and outcomes are achieved within given timescales as efficiently as possible.
Essential Experience:
1. At least two years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Webex.
3. Experience of Content Manager.
4. Ability to work at pace, independently and under own initiative.
5. Good written and oral communication skills.
6. Level 3 or Equivalent Qualifications.
Desired Experience:
1. Experience of building strong working relationships with other NI Departments, other UK Administrations and non-Government stakeholders.
2. The ability to adopt a pro-active and flexible approach dealing with issues at short notice to ensure deadlines are met.
