Senior Technical Key Account Manager
Location: South East or London
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (plus bonus)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Key Account Manager to join a leading company in the EV charging sector. This role is integral to managing and growing relationships with the company’s most important customers while driving profitability and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in DC EV charging and electronics engineering, coupled with proven experience in account management, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Management: Plan and oversee the full relationship lifecycle between the company (CPO/EV charging manufacturer) and its key customers, ensuring optimal engagement and satisfaction.
* Customer Loyalty Development: Strategically enhance customer relationships to foster loyalty and maximise profitable returns from key accounts.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage high-level stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
* Portfolio Oversight: Take ownership of a large-budget portfolio, including direct management of a £2 million+ team budget.
* Technical Expertise: Leverage your background in DC EV charging and electronics engineering to offer technical insights and solutions tailored to client needs.
* Customer Onboarding: Support the onboarding of B2B customers, including commercial projects, distributors, and white label partners, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with their business objectives.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technical products and services to customers.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as a Technical Key Account Manager or similar role within the EV charging industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of DC EV charging technology and its applications is preferred.
* Background in Electronics Engineering with the ability to translate technical insights into business opportunities.
* Experience in onboarding and supporting B2B customers such as commercial projects, distributors, and white label partners.
* Demonstrated success in managing high-value portfolios and delivering results in a B2B environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Experience in developing and implementing strategies to increase customer loyalty and profitability.
