Senior Investment Manager
Salary: National: £60,000 - £75,000, London: circa £100,000
This role would be suitable for a (Senior) Investment Manager with experience across multi asset funds, public asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income) and fund research who wants to join one of the leading Wealth solution provider and make a difference in supporting the financial wellbeing of millions of customers.
A bit about the job:
You will be joining a very dynamic team that is focused on delivering strong financial outcome for our customers. To deliver this, you will be involved in a large number of projects and investment activities.
This is a highly visible role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the investment strategy for some of our award-winning Workplace Auto enrolment solutions taking into account their risk appetite, our ESG and climate framework and commercial needs.
You will also be responsible for monitoring our investment managers’ performance whilst managing relationship with various collaborators including our Wealth Proposition team and our internal/external asset managers. You will also support the production of internal MI for our Investment Committees and Life Boards.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Deep understanding of investment issues and performance drivers relevant to multi asset funds gained either from an insurance company/pension scheme, investment consultant or fund manager’s experience
2. Highly numerate and analytical with a developed capability to interpret data, challenge proposals and ability to find solutions to complex problems
3. Project management expertise including demonstrable experience of solution design, change implementation and senior collaborator management
4. Strong communicator who is able to build productive relationships and influence for positive outcomes in challenging situations. Team management expertise with ability to coach, mentor and develop junior members of the team
5. Extensive knowledge of asset class in both public and private markets (equity, fixed income, private market…)

6. National salary between £60,000 - £75,000, London salary circa £100,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
