Position Details:
1. Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
2. Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (9pm - 7am)
3. Role: Female Waking Night Support Worker
About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team and provide essential nighttime support to a wonderful woman, helping her live her best life. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
4. Assisting with personal needs, medication administration, and other tasks throughout the night.
5. Ensuring safety and comfort by conducting regular checks and addressing any concerns.
6. Maintaining accurate records of observations, incidents, and interactions.
7. Working with daytime support staff, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of support.
8. Offering comfort, reassurance, and companionship to create a supportive nighttime atmosphere.
Requirements:
9. Previous experience in a similar role.
10. Compassionate and support nature.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Training and Induction: We provide a comprehensive induction and training program, including support to obtain the Care Certificate. While primarily working nights, you may be required to workday shifts during your induction and training periods.
