We’re looking for an inspiring, creative and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in the beautiful Channel Islands. You will ideally have experience teaching Food Technology, although this is not essential.
In this exciting contract role, you will join a successful Design and Technology department, which enjoys great facilities and is committed to nurturing individuality and academic success through inspirational teaching.
You will need to have a passion for delivering Design and Technology to KS3 and KS4 pupils, encouraging them to develop the confidence, courage and resilience to aspire to excellence. You will draw upon the school’s positive teaching environment to help pupils develop DT skills that will aid them, whatever their course through life.
This full-time Design Technology Teacher role is available immediately until the end of the academic year.
Skills and requirements
QTS
The right to work in the UK
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
A solid background in teaching Design Technology, ideally with Food Technology
An inspirational, driven and passionate teacher
