What you'll be doing:
As Senior Food and Beverage Manager, youll provide leadership and support to the team at a very large and complex National Trust place, or group of smaller places, and its food and drink outlets. This will involve handling things behind the scenes: from administration to developing people, and everything in between.
Its a busy, lively business and, as well as line-managing staff, youll be leading all aspects of the day-to-day running of our food and drink operations, leaving the team to get on with doing what they do best.
Youll help to build a great place to work for your team. Youll recruit and train versatile and hard-working people, and encourage high achievement by setting objectives and reviewing their performance. You might also be needed to support the wider property team from time to time.
Youll set and achieve financial targets, take ownership of budgets, manage wages and control costs to improve profitability. Youll also ensure stock and waste are monitored and youll actively look for ways to increase income.
Well give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
