Accounts Administrator
Salary: Up to £26,000
Located: Sheffield, S36
Hours: 36 hour working week, Monday to Friday (fully office based)
We are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing business based in the S36 area of Sheffield. Our client are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Administrator who will take responsibility of the day-to-day running of transactional finance. If you’re someone with experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, who’s looking to join a stable business where you can settle in for the long term, this could be the role for you!

Main duties/responsibilities:
5. Managing the credit control function
6. Monitoring debtor balances on a daily/weekly basis
7. Chasing payment for balances falling due/overdue
8. Reporting on aged debtors on a weekly basis
9. Sales ledger processing including raising sales invoices and credit notes.
10. Cash book postings and reconciliation.
11. Posting and reconciling transactions
12. Purchase ledger processing
13. Posting purchase invoices received from suppliers
14. Adhoc administration duties (scanning/filing/telephone answering etc.)
You will have:
15. Experience within an Accounts / Finance Administrator, position is desirable
16. A highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills
17. Good IT and administrative skills are essential.
