Oracle’s AI Services offering helps modernize applications and processes for organizations across the globe, with a range of deployment models and operational controls. We are seeking an EMEA leader who will manage and develop a high performing team of technical experts, including recruiting, hiring, and training new hires.
What You’ll Do
Leadership position for an established team. We seek an experienced Technical Leader to further develop a team of motivated customer specialists and capitalise on Oracle’s AI Services portfolio, supporting the broader sales team for inspiring customers to progress from identifying business problems to rolling out a solution.
1. Lead and develop a team of technical experts including recruiting, hiring and training new Specialists
2. Work with relevant sales leaders in supporting their team with deep technical expertise and help close business.
3. Develop deep technical expertise within the team around AI Language, Vision, Document Understanding, Speech, Digital Assistant and other upcoming cloud offerings for Oracle AI Services
4. Develop a strong interlock with the engineering team, ensuring that the Specialist team can develop deep expertise on upcoming new features and services
5. Identify go to market challenges and facilitate access to this information for product engineering teams
6. Pilot new technical features with customers
7. Ensure compliance of internal processes and quality of team’s work
8. Work towards positioning Specialists as industry thought leaders for their respective focus areas
You will manage a team of specialized resources that are able to:
9. Identify business requirements together with customers and formalize them to facilitate a solution
10. Craft proof of concepts and pilots adapted to customer requirements
11. Provide expertise to other internal and external teams for achieving customer success
12. Pilot latest features together with customers
13. Document patterns, reference architectures, workshops in a standardized way, to be reused by global audiences
14. Create compelling written assets proficiently, encompassing both external publications and internal documentation.
15. Research and evaluate upcoming cloud initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
16. Interact with all roles at customer – including CIO, CTO, IT Architects, technical staff and Business representative
17. Make recommendations on integration strategies, use of pre-trained AI to modernise existing applications and create new ones
18. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Lead aspects of the technical sales process. Advise internal and external clients on best practices related to the pre-trained AI domain.
19. Guide customers in their application modernization journey through innovation.

Skills and Profile
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Cloud Infrastructure, application development and pre-trained AI, able to understand the customer issues in their journey to Cloud and application modernisation. The ideal candidate must have a strong Cloud IaaS/PaaS oriented mindset and must have a broad understanding of application development frameworks with proven hands-on experience in application modernization initiatives. You require the ability to build and manage technical teams and work with a variety of stakeholders.

26. Wide background including architecture, implementation and delivery of application modernisation initiatives in real-world situations
27. A strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering AI enhanced applications with quick time to market
28. Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including conversational AI, image recognition, speech to text and text to speech
29. Up to date knowledge of IT market and trends in relation to pre-trained AI
30. Proven, hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL
31. Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2
32. Knowledge of Oracle Applications portfolio
33. Knowledge of AI related offerings from AWS, GCP, Azure
34. Cloud Application Development or AI related certification
35. Cloud architecture certification (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google)
36. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: analysis of challenges, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to push back diplomatically.
37. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
38. C-level presentation expertise
39. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
40. Ability to travel as needed.
