Welding Inspector/ Engineer
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Welding Inspector/ Engineer for our client who has great expertise in the nuclear industry and a wealth of career opportunities.

Our client is responsible for delivering work to critical Nuclear power projects across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a Welding Inspector/ Engineer to support large projects and be engaged in exciting work whilst being part of a diverse, inclusive and motivated team.

The Role Responsibilities:
8. Highly skilled in weld inspection on construction projects.
9. Must have knowledge of British & European standards, construction and design codes/guidelines such as RCC-M, BS EN and ASME.
10. Proven track record working or studying in the fields of metallurgy, welding, and NDT.
11. Expertise in documentation used in safety critical construction and fabrication environments such as End of Erection Status Reports, Inspection and Test Plans.

12. Great communication skills and levels of organization and delegation.
13. Exceptional levels of attention to detail especially whilst working in high pressure environments.
14. The ability to establish professional working relationships with contractors.
15. Evidence of experience in writing accurate and purposeful diaries to the relevant form of contract.
16. Experience working in a large and busy construction team.
17. Strong background in mechanical engineering, welding qualifications and materials.
18. Expertise in materials, trades, legal requirements and an excellent level of knowledge in the Engineering Construction Industry.
