Key Responsibilities as a Legionella Risk Assessor:
1. Ensuring customer and business compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 part 2, BS 8580-1 and other relevant industry standards and guidance.
2. Promoting and supporting Health & Safety regulatory standards and practice at site and in our service delivery.
3. Problem solving /diagnosing faults within Plumbing Systems and making recommendations for maintenance and remedial work where appropriate.
4. Compiling accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems.
5. Conduct detailed Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 & HSG274.
6. Perform ongoing services such as Legionella Risk Assessments, temperature monitoring, and routine water hygiene checks.
Requirements for a Legionella Risk Assessor:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or in a similar role.
2. Full UK driving licence.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Approved Legionella Risk Assessor Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc).
