Job Overview
* Plan and carry out audit assignments to a wide variety of clients
* Ensure the audit team are on track and completing audit work within the allocated timetable
* Communicate to the clients on a regular basis on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit related matters
* Advise clients on areas of business improvements
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge in all areas
* Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, and discuss the results with the clients either in person or over the phone.
* Involvement in statutory audits, including planning the audit, leading the audit fieldwork, and completion of files for manager review.
Requirements:
* Fully ACCA/ACA qualified
* Experience carrying out audits from planning through to completion
* Previous experience in accountancy practice environments is essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Driving license required to travel to clients' premises
* Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Preparation and review of VAT returns
