Site Manager Required for New-Build Apartments

Hays Construction are currently representing a client who have been operating in the local construction industry for almost 50 years. This is a respected firm who have carried out projects in both the public and private sector and have produced consistently high standards across each project they have delivered. This is a company who have successfully delivered a range of projects in commercial, education, healthcare, social & private housing throughout which they provide new build, refurbishment, maintenance and civil engineering contract services. This is a firm that regularly carries out £multimillion works and are continuing to add to their diverse portfolio.
Your new role
As a result of continuous growth, this company is currently on the lookout for an accomplished Site Manager to join them on their latest project - 9no apartments in Lisburn. You will be responsible for the daily operations on site, delivering daily briefings and keeping the project on track whilst applying your technical expertise and ability where necessary. You will have strong communication skills and a good level of leadership with the ability to motivate those on site. You will be health and safety focused whilst being responsible for ordering materials and supervising subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with excellent leadership skills and technical ability. You will be tasked with ensuring that the project is kept on track with client deadlines and budget remaining a vital part of the project success. You will have previous experience of carrying out works on residential schemes from the ground up. You must have a rounded skillset to include both internal trades and civils work. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate. This is initially a temporary role and, as a result, you must be immediately available or on a shortened notice period.
