Exciting opportunity has come available for experienced Paediatric nurses to join the HDU team. An established team who delivers HDU level care to the highest standard to a wide range of children from multi-specialty teams. from 0-16 years.
An opportunity that will enhance your skillset as well as educational opportunities available to ensure that we are delivering care in line with evidence-based practice as well as supporting staff development.
Main duties of the job
To deliver high standards of care in partnership with children, young people, and families in a safe and professional environment of children who require High Dependency care and higher levels of nursing interventions, with appropriate escalation and de-escalation of care.
To be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care to children and young people and their families/carers
To positively contribute to the achievement of local (ward) and Trust wide objectives .
After a period of preceptorship and development - To supervise and teach junior staff and students, and to take charge of the ward in the absence of senior colleagues
To adhere to Trust policies and procedures
