Our Client, A Large Public Sector Organisation based in Limavady require a Shift Leader to join their team. Role : Shift Leader Location : Limavady / Benone Hours of work : up to 37hrs per week Monday - Sunday (Temporary role) Hourly Rate : 1 -12 weeks £12.74 13 weeks + £13.69 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide a range of reception, clerical, administrative, supervisory and cleaning duties and contribute to the provision of a professional and efficient service at Benone Holiday & Leisure Park. Adhere to all statutory and legislative requirements and work in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and general confidentially is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONAL DUTIES In the absence of the Warden/ Senior Shift Leader: Under the direction of the General Manager, deputise for the Warden as and when required in the day-to-day supervision of Benone Holiday & Leisure Park. To operate the Bookings system for caravan/tents, pods and golf, recording arrivals, departures and ensuring pitches are vacated at the appropriate time. To maintain maintenance records and report defects to Estates Department in the absence of the Warden and ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely manner. To carry out reception and cashier duties, including the reconciliation of cash takings with appropriate floats and computerised print outs. To provide a front of house service, dealing with general enquiries and complaints and providing advice and assistance in relation to tourist information and other enquiries. To ensure the cleanliness and security of the buildings and facilities is maintained while on shift. Oversee the allocation of staff duties as required while on shift in the absence of the Warden. To administer first aid if appropriate and complete all necessary incident documentation. To perform all duties in a manner which ensures that a high standard of customer care is always achieved. To undertake housekeeping duties as designated within the building and all exterior areas/buildings within the facility boundaries using the appropriate machines, equipment and materials. To undertake any other relevant duties which may be assigned at Benone Holiday & Leisure Park. PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION - ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Evidence of having worked for at least six months in a supervisory role and especially supervising teenagers. Previous experience of working in a busy office, handling cash, dealing with complaints and reception duties. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook. Experience of handling complaints. Good communication skills both verbal and in writing.
