This key position will work closely with the Finance Systems Manager to maintain and develop the core finance system and associated software.
Key responsibilities-
* Maintain and support the finance system, ensuring SLAs are met and outstanding customer service is provided.
* Develop and maintain system business processes, understanding stakeholder and operational needs.
* Coordinate workload and issue prioritisation within the team to reduce risk and provide excellent customer service.
* Responsible for user access and permissions in line with financial regulations.
* Lead the development of the finance system and associated software.
* Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes through system improvements and automation.
* Foster excellent business relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and system users.
* Plan and deliver an accessible training schedule for the group.
* Contribute to compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Ideal candidate-
* Experience in maintaining and developing systems
* Knowledge of underpinning technical infrastructure of Finance Systems
* Proven experience in administering and optimising integrated systems
* Experience in working with major stakeholders
* Experience in providing training to system users with different levels of knowledge
* Strong understanding of financial processes and workflows
* Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence in engagement with stakeholders
* Proactivity in suggesting improvements and new methods of working.
