Inventory Planner / Stock Controller - Permanent – Shrewsbury
L & C Consulting are working closely with a Shrewsbury based concern to recruit for a new Supply Chain / Inventory Planner / Purchasing Administrator / Buying Assistant / Procurement Support. Based in modern offices, this new, permanent position will be based within a small procurement and inventory control team.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Maintain system Inventory levels
* Maximise supplier discounts and performance
* Ensure optimum stock level holding
* Use MRP for forecasting
* Planning
* Expediting orders
* Assist in in sourcing new suppliers
* Raise Pos and receipt of deliveries etc
To be considered for this excellent opportunity within a corporate style organisation, you will have worked in a similar stock control / purchasing / supply chain / procurement-based role previously.
You will posses a high attention to detail, be well organised, motivated, reliable and flexible in your work. You will also be able to demonstrate an analytical approach, be IT literate (Ms Excel & an MRP / ERP based system) and excellent communication skills.
The Shrewsbury based site is commutable from Telford, Oswestry, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton,
Stafford, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge etc
