Role description: HR Change and Enablement Manager - Talent Shared Services (TSS Enablement Manager (Assistant Director))
Reporting to: UK TSS Head of Payroll, Projects and Systems
Location: Birmingham, some UK travel required
Working as part of EY’s UK Talent Shared Services (TSS) within UK & Ireland, the TSS Enablement Manager will represent TSS across the UK&I Region and Globally to ensure the delivery of consistently high service to all Stakeholders, in respect of changes to the operational delivery of services within TSS, the UKI Region, or Global.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will contribute to the overall development of TSS by encouraging change and identifying areas for efficiencies aligned to EY’s global systems landscape. The Project Manager will report to the UK TSS Head of Pay, Projects and Systems.
Your key responsibilities
In this role you will use your project management experience to lead change, developing an understanding of business needs to guide your approach to project delivery.
1. You may manage multiple project deployments consecutively. Projects can vary ranging from local team operational process reviews, implementation of new services or systems to firm wide reorganisations. A recent project was the creation of EY apprenticeships. The TSS Enablement Manager was responsible for managing the creation of a new service delivery model within the UK TSS to manage apprenticeship compliance. This included creating the new scope of service, hiring a team, devising new operational processes and documentation, as well as the deployment of a third party Management Information System.
2. You will support the TSS Leadership team and Managers in reviewing TSS scope of services, identifying opportunities to enhance the service offering, reduce costs and improve productivity, as well as adapting to business need/change.
3. You may lead on Mergers and Acquisitions activity ensuring TSS impacts are identified and addressed, extending to Third Party Service Delivery partners as appropriate.
4. You may lead on the delivery of cyclical activity, the annual pay cycle including systems readiness, UAT oversight and stakeholder management across the regional teams and extending to third party providers.
5. You will create and maintain project documents, project plans, governance models, visio process maps, actions logs, project charters, risks and issue logs. You should proactively manage stakeholder updates and communication of key project achievements, as well as leading regular meetings (internal and external stakeholders) which include project meetings to discuss team responsibilities, priorities and ensure delivery.
6. As a TSS manager you will also contribute to UK TSS initiatives, and support the centre to maintain its reputation for the delivery of exceptional client service.

7. Able to work under pressure to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects. Demonstrate flexibility to delivering project tasks.
8. Respond to, manage and resolve all issues raised by project team members and work with Project Sponsor, Senior Managers within TSS and other senior stakeholders to recommend solutions, identify risks and manage/escalate as appropriate.
9. Able to demonstrate initiative and vision and identify opportunities for process improvement.
10. Consult and collaborate to build robust relationships across all UK TSS Service Teams, Regional stakeholders and IBM Managed Services, to ensure best practice is shared and to guide project deployment.
To qualify for the role you must have
11. Experience in project management in the Human Resources Function, in particular managing the operational implementation of enhancements as a manager.
12. Strong organisational and planning skills with an intelligent, proactive approach to problem solving.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships within UK Talent Shared Services (UK TSS) and internal/external teams.
14. Ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships adapting to change, flexing style and approach.
Ideally, you’ll also have
15. Experience of working within a shared services centre environment and managing operational change.
16. Experience of implementing third party services in the HR context.
17. Project Management qualified,, Prince2 / Agile methodology.
