Management Accountant – Neath We're seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team! The role involves preparing month-end management accounts, day-to-day financial management, core financial processes, forecasting, Group tasks, and maintaining the control environment. The ideal candidate will be part qualified or qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with experience in financial reporting and forecasting in a multi-site organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in a fast-paced finance environment are key. What you will be doing:
1. Preparing month end management accounts
2. Completing month end balance sheet reconciliations
3. Stock reconciliations
4. Supporting operational colleagues and other stakeholders to improve financial acumen and awareness
5. Supporting the Group in risk assessment processes and maintaining a risk management culture throughout the organisation
6. Assisting the development of BI to provide insight ensuring control, profitable growth and effective decision-making
7. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to ensure the delivery of information that will ensure the ongoing management of the current and future health of the sector including income, expenditure and long-term planning
8. Supporting the consolidation of budgets and short-term forecasts to meet the needs of the business
9. Assisting with Monthly P&L forecasting
