This is achieved in compliance with Fundamental Accounting Principles, the Refresco Group Accounting Manual, and the requirements outlined in the Companies Act. Additionally, the role involves managing and continuously improving all financial accounting functions within the Business Unit Here are your key tasks and responsibilities as Financial Accountant at Refresco: Detailed multi-currency cash flow forecasting and variance analysis, for reporting and to support hedging activities. Balance sheet foreign currency revaluations. Journal preperation and posting. Balance sheet reconcilliations. Group reporting for non-trading subsidiary business. Alcohol declaration workings and submission to HMRC. Support budget and Forecast activities within the team in line with reporting deadlines. Cover other team responosobiltiies including Treasury. About You The ideal candidate will possess experience in either reviewing financial records for external audits or managing the audit process within an accounts department. They should also have a strong track record of preparing comprehensive statutory accounts for a large organisation and hold a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification (or be at finalist level).
