Job Title: EducationalPsychologist
Location: Underley Gardens School – North West

Hours: 20 hours per week, 2.5 days per week, TBC
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata (dependent onexperience)
Essential: Full UKDriving Licence and access to own vehiclerequired

About theRole
You’ll join ourmulti-disciplinary team of dedicated and embedded clinical staffproviding psychological assessment and intervention for pupilswithin the schools, guidance for education teams and professionaldevelopment training for staff. The role involves communicatingwith families/ carers and specialist agencies. You’ll workalongside the clinical teams’ Occupational Therapists, Speech andLanguage Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, AssistantPsychologists and Therapies Assistant’s.
Due tomost children and young people in OFG already having EHCP’s onplacement entry, our Educational Psychologists are afforded thecapacity to support children and young people without the timeconstraints associated with EHCN assessments. You will be involvedin a rich variety of work, delivering and supporting children andyoung people at universal, targeted and specialist service levels,to meet their EHCP identified needs, and emerging needs.

Who we are lookingfor?
We are looking for aqualified Educational Psychologist with a masters or doctoralprofessional qualification and HCPC registration. You’ll need to becreative and passionate about improving outcomes for pupils withcomplex needs.
The ideal candidate will beresilient and have experience of working in with people withcomplex SEN needs. You’ll need to be a good communicator withstrong skills in assessment and report writing.
KeyAccountabilities:
* Provide psychological assessment and intervention forpupils within the schools
* Offer guidance foreducation teams
* To provide supervision toagreed members of the clinical team
* Communicating with families/ carers and specialistagencies
* Engage in professional developmenttraining for all staff
Essential Criteria
* A doctoral or masters professionalqualification in Educational Psychology
* Registered with the HCPC as qualified EducationalPsychologist
* Creative and passionate aboutimproving outcomes for pupils
* Able to work aspart of a team and be self-reliant
* Full UKDriving Licence and access to own vehicle required
