Day rate: £250- £400 DOE (Inside IR35)

Job overview:
Supporting the internal comms and rewards team this post will be supporting the roll out of a new rewards program.
You will influence colleague and stakeholder awareness in support of our 10-year strategy and behaviours as well as our operational performance, our people and customer strategies through effective, efficient, measured and timely communications and reputation management.

Responsibilities:
* To work with the Internal Communication & Engagement team and Reward team to provide a central framework which will enable the delivery of effective, creative & engaging communications, develop our channels to maximise engagement and drive co-creation across the business to share insight and provide opportunity for feedback.
* Be the communications and engagement expert responsible for leading and advising on strategic and tactical communications and engagement. This includes landing effective and successful colleague change and engagement through telling stories, creating and delivering content and managing strategic communications plans for colleague projects and programmes.
* To support the company 10-year strategy with direct internal communications planning and activity across multiple levels of stakeholders and channels across our organisation.
* To provide specific support for our People development and change programmes. These include Reward, Benefits, Recognition and all annual BAU Reward specific activity to ensure effective delivery of key projects through clear and engaging communications.
* Work with our social media agency to drive our paid social and media campaigns. Generate exciting and engaging content for the different social channels and provide reports with recommendations based on the results.
* Liaise with the graphic designers and other departments within the business and external agencies to create content.
* Assist to develop a digital marketing strategy to enhance SEO.
* Gather content, design and create regular newsletter communications to specific venue audiences through Mailchimp.
* Monitor competitor activity online. Identify areas to further promote the business through PR, Advertising and Marketing.
* General support and adhoc duties as required by the GM and the Sales & Marketing team.
* Develop an effective, measurable, and engaging communications plan for colleague focused activity, incl. reward, benefits, recognition, and more.
* Providing a framework through which our people leaders within the business can take ownership of communications – working with the business unit business partners to ensure consistency.
* Manage strategic and tactical communication and engagement plan to ensure stakeholders and colleagues hear the right things, in the right order at the right time and in the right way.
* Tell stories that our people will engage with that align to our strategy, promote our behaviours, with awareness and appreciation to the day-to-day operational demands and customer-facing challenges of the business.
* Develop the Internal Communications teams’ ability to ensure colleagues hear the right message, at the right time, in the right order, in the right way.
* Discover and lead on opportunities for improving our channels in terms of content, delivery method and technological / digital considerations as appropriate.
* Improve our understanding of our people and company culture through segmentation and influencing behaviours.
* Embedding co-creation in our engagement approach at every opportunity.
* Effectively co-ordinate a series of virtual and face to face group wide colleague events.
* Lead on creative campaigns that consider internal and external factors to help land our key messages with colleagues.
* Develop reports that provide measures of success and insights on your content, plans and campaigns

Required skills:
* Flexibility to understand the needs of the business and manage time and workload accordingly.
* Understanding of social networking channels & have previous digital marketing experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly motivated with a proactive approach.
* The ability to work independently and in a team Creative flair.
* Experience in copywriting, design and photography/videography would be advantageous.
* A social media enthusiast & expert Fantastic time management and organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise workload
Personal specifications
* A background within an internal communications environment having experience of managing and developing internal communications channels, processes and activities in the Reward and Benefits area.
* Experience of working within a large regulated corporate environment.
* Experience of creating communications strategies for both online and offline workers.
* An ability to create content that colleagues want to engage with and ability to utilise this content to build relationships, develop awareness and understanding and create advocacy.
* Proactive, creative and driven communications professional with the ability to build relationships and positively influence at all levels within the business
* Skilled storyteller to deliver complex business messages in a compelling and creative.
* Comfortable in challenging others to maintain principles and keep our colleague audience at the heart of communication activity.
* Ability to understand or develop understanding of audience needs, motivations, environment and perspectives.
* Strong ability to prioritise, organise and plan work and keep key stakeholders informed without reminders.
* Skilled in strategic communications planning and experience in landing effective change communication campaigns.
* Confident presenter and communicator, with experience of presenting and engaging a wide range of audiences with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
* Knowledge of digital trends to adapt and deploy to our communications effectively, specifically around a remote workforce.
