A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business as a Purchasing Manager. My client is looking for a proactive and driven individual who is agile and able to meet changing business needs as well as forecasting business demands. It is suited to someone who can maintain long lasting relationships with suppliers and who is wanting to grow with this fantastic business!
Responsibilities
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring OTIF
Manage any supplier issues including quality defects effectively and in a timely manner
Ensure system and process improvement where possible
Commodity Management
Working cross functionally across internal teams
Forecast materials for production
Evaluate current Supply Chain and ensure smooth flow of materials and key lines
Experience/skills:
Purchasing & Supply Chain experience
Experience in managing others OR the desire to step up into a management role
Strong communication skills to speak with a range of suppliers
Global Supply Chain experience
Previous experience developing a purchasing strategy
System experience, implementing and improving MRP systems
Excel proficient Client
