Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef Manager to join their team at Crawley College and Haywards Heath College, (Part of Chichester College Group), RH10 1NR.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the unit, preparing meals, delegating tasks to your team, and leading your team to success.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
1. Lead on Food Production, prepare meals, management of a single kitchen and team of Assistants / Team Leader.
2. Hot and cold food production for the deli grab & go and hot counter food service for both breakfast and lunchtime.
3. You will be organising and coordinating hospitality - alongside leading the team to ensure tasks are appropriately allocated and food preparation activities are delivered using standard recipes and in line with Aramark brand standards.
4. Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products.
5. Placing orders and stock rotation, carrying out regular stock takes and completing the relevant back office paperwork.
6. Handle customer complaints as required.
7. Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met.
You will be set up for success if you have:
1. Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
2. Relevant culinary/cookery qualification or previous experience operating as a Chef Supervisor/Chef Manager.
3. Knowledge of financial processing and an understanding of P&L and stocktaking.
4. A confident leader with experience of people management.
