At this specialist manufacturing business that supplies high performance products to a continually growing market, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join the team based in Runcorn.
The key focus of the role is to drive initiatives to reduce the cost of poor quality. This will involve analysing data, interpreting results and resolving non-conformances.
Reporting into the QHSE Manager, within the role of Quality Engineer, typical responsibilities will be to: -
Accurately carry out quality control checks to ensure product fully complies with customer and company specifications.
Analysing test results, reporting results to stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve internal and external non-conformances.
Generate and maintain quality records.
Ensure production requests are completed in a timely manner.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities, recommending improvement ideas and implementing when approved.
To follow company procedures for H&S compliance.The successful candidate will: -
Have gained their quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Be competent with MS Office and quality systems.
Have an analytical approach to problem solving.On offer: -
A salary to £40,000

25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Early finish on of 1pm on Friday
