We have a fantastic opportunity for aSite Supervisor to join our team in Bangor, Gwynedd. Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, theSite Supervisor will be responsible for managing the works of the skilled operatives on site and be working on different infrastructure projects across the North Wales region.
You will also be supporting the safe delivery of a project in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions and ensure that approved project documentation is communicated and understood by those responsible for the safe and effective implementation.
On a day-to-day basis, the responsibilities of theSite Supervisor will include the following (not exhaustive):
* Providing Health and Safety leadership to the site delivery team and promote behavioural safety improvements
* Providing support to the Project Management team with the safe operational delivery of the project
* Ensuring the site supervision and work teams are well organised and motivated to safely meet the required programme milestones
* Arranging and managing the operational resourcing of the assigned project
* Supporting the development of safe systems of works with the rail planning team
* Complying with all project documentation, applicable legislation and company Standards
* Providing support to ensure the project and environmental targets and objectives are met
* Adhering to Inspection Test & Plans and ensuring completion of quality checks in line with construction drawings and specifications
* Arranging delivery of all plant and equipment appropriate for safe delivery of the works and is secured and maintained at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be aSite Supervisor who is in receipt of the following:
* CITB SMSTS Certification
* Emergency First Aid certificate
* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Construction Site Management or similar qualification
* Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS)
* CPCS (Plant Operator tickets) or equivalent
