We're looking fora Managing QuantitySurveyor to join our Natural Resources Teamworking on our Thames Water framework. With the option to workfrom home you'll also need to visit our sites and offices acrossthe Thames Water patch, concentrating on a site in LittleMarlow.
Location: Working from homewith travel to site at Little Marlow and across the ThamesValley

Responsibilities
As a Managing QuantitySurveyor, you'll be working within the NaturalResources team supporting them in managing the commercial aspectsof our Thames Water Framework under an Institution of ChemicalEngineers (IChemE) Burgundy Book contract. You'll would play apivotal role in overseeing commercial project managementassociated with multiple water and wastewater infrastructureprojects.
Your day to day willinclude:
* Managing and developing the commercial team, ensuringcommercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost controlprocedures are utilised
* Maximising cash flowthrough the control, measurement and valuation of work, and theinvoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
* Producing accurate forecasts / budget information,ensuring contract commercial deliverables and timescales aremet
* Ensuring works are valued, including anyvariation, in accordance with the contract and monitoring monthlyCVR reviews, supporting the head of commercial
* Negotiate contract terms with clients, contractors, andother relevant parties. Ensuring that the terms are favourable,equitable, and aligned with the project's objectives andconstraints.

* Proven experience in a similar role or readyto step up to the next level in your career from Senior.
* Strong knowledge of the IChemE Burgundy Book andexperience in water/wastewater projects are preferable.
* Experience in standard forms of contracts and costcontrol processes, with a view to be able to comment, review anddraft documents.
