As a Contracts and Compliance Manager, you will support the Site with the management and governance of Engineering and Facilities service providers and all 3rd party contracts. The role will also ensure Engineering compliance standards are met:
* Ensure accuracy of financial reporting through monitoring forecasted operational budget spend against contractual budgets
* Ensure routine compliance and service performance against clearly defined KPIs.
* Ensure GSK Compliance Systems are applied in a systematic and sustainable manner within the Engineering Department.
* Support the improvement in compliance related areas and activities by application of the Quality Management System and Engineering standards to ensure satisfactory outcomes from Regulatory inspections are achieved.
In this role you will...
* Manage costs of Engineering service providers, including ownership of budgets and forecasting in conjunction with finance business partners, and driving improvements and cost saving opportunities.
* Lead on the routine performance monitoring of Facilities Management contract, financial reporting and ensuring the service provision meets organisational requirements and aligns with the site contract documents.
* Oversee and manage all third party contracts to ensure:
o Efficient and effective service
o Delivery of contractual commitments
* Manage, control and co-ordinate all third party contracts to ensure maintenance and all legislative requirements are met and documented for supplier performance against these agreed requirements.
* Assess Engineering risks associated with non-compliance of QMS and Engineering Standards to ensure:
o Risks are documented in the Risk Management system.
o QMS Policies and Processes are incorporated into SOPs where possible.
o Engineering standards are incorporated into engineering specifications and SOPs.
o Proactively communicates these to relevant staff.
* Maintain the VQD system for engineering to ensure all risks are documented and actioned to ensure risks are mitigated within agreed milestones. Prepare Engineering Report at Site Risk Review Forum.
* Manage the change control process for Engineering to ensure effective close out of change controls and report metrics to Quality Department.
* Ensure compliance with Data Quality requirements, Department Training needs and CAPA support within Engineering Department.
* Co-ordinate the planning and delivery of Engineering involvement in site level 2 audits, corporate level 3 audits, regulatory level 4 audits and any other external audits.

* Qualified to HNC level in appropriate discipline.
* Demonstrated CI skills would be preferred but not essential.
* Coach others to make use of Engineering Standards and specifications.
* Demonstrable high level of compliance.
* Understanding of principles of quality systems and standards.

* University Degree or equivalent.
